Meet Your Agent
Since I was a small child, I've been fascinated with land, the improvement of land, and real estate property overall. I often chose to watch television shows like House Hunters and Love It or List It before any cartoon or Disney sitcom. It seems like such a short while ago, I can remember watching reruns of anything I could find on HGTV in hopes of one day being able to do what those people were doing. And now we’re here.
Hello, my name is Shania Patrick and I am your new real estate agent!
I turned my young passion into reality in the Spring of 2021 when I not only obtained my real estate license (passing the state exam on the first try), but I also completed an associate degree in Business Administration. I am truly thankful to have the tools that are needed in order to be successful in this career field, overjoyed to finally be able to do something that I love, and honored to be able to help my friends and family find their dream homes in the process, you included! But, let’s rewind to how I got here. After all, this is a get-to-know-me page, right?
SRP Real Estate is derived from my full initials. When we meet, you can guess what the “R” stands for, but I’ll just tell you it stands for Real Estate. I am 21 years old, one of the last summer babies of ‘99. I was raised by both my biological parents and two amazing stepparents. I am the oldest of three biological siblings (Aaron or Shawn to some, Rylee, and Joseph) and the youngest of two adopted siblings (Devin and Ashley). It is hard to say where I’m really from! I grew up in Michigan, on the west side of Detroit with my father and in South Redford with my mother before moving to West Bloomfield just before the start of 6th grade. In the end, each city where I lived has contributed to my identity and growth in life in some way, shape, or form. I claim them all as home.
As a kid, I was involved in a multitude of extracurricular activities including professional dance for over eight years, soccer, cheerleading, and track. Unlike many kids, I loved school and appreciated the knowledge school equipped me with. One of my favorite subjects was Japanese which I studied for a total of six years between middle and high school. After school, you would find me working at the former Sears at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Michigan. I worked there for three years just before the company permanently shut its doors.
After graduating from West Bloomfield High School in 2017, I worked full-time as an assistant preschool teacher for three years while working towards my associate degree at Oakland Community College. I am currently a freelance agent working with C Miles Realty as my principal brokerage based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I am also a leasing agent with Beztak Properties at two locations in the Metro Detroit area. Nowadays, outside of work, my hobbies include shopping, going out for nice dinners, and exploring nature. Nothing much has changed though...I still can’t seem to shake my HGTV obsession.
